Fall Back

This past Monday - the first day in the office after leaving daylight savings time - I couldn’t figure out how the morning had passed so quickly until I realized that I hadn’t turned back the clock on my desk. I looked up from my work and saw that it was approaching noon, paused and finally realized that it was only eleven. I reset the clock with a sense of relief.
Changing the clocks is a reality. I certainly appreciate the sunlight later in the day during the summer. But I’m not so sure about the return.
In a few days, the body will have adjusted and we’ll wait till Spring.

Waking up with the sun is a much better way to go.

I love getting the extra hour in the fall, but I am so annoyed by losing the hour in the spring. It’s time to get rid of this archaic rule.

This is a throwback to an agrarian economy, and while there is certainly farming still done, it is only a fraction of the overall economic picture. Furthermore, I question if modern farming techniques actually require an additional hour of daylight. Time to retire this "tradition".
Daniel Schwartz

Not a fan of setting the clocks back. Leave it as it was, all year. I much prefer more light at the end of the day than in the morning.

I woke up an hour too early and I made an appointment for an hour too late because I thought I had moved my clocks back. I also think this is an archaic tradition we no longer need.
