Ever notice how everything we see and read has a sense of urgency about it?

 

These are 3 of today's headlines...

• Another intraparty revolt by Democrats imperils swift passage...

• "It's our lives on the line": Thousands of young protesters demand urgent action on...

• All those 23andMe spit test were part of a bigger plan.

 

Not to mention the drivers on the road racing up to the next traffic light which is red.

 

How about your expectations for food delivery?

 

Let's take a breath, smile and be grateful for what we have. You know Thanksgiving is just around the corner....

You wonder why high blood pressure and heart disease is prevelent today. One of the reasons I am heading down to Florida. Time to slow down a bit if I can.

Agree with everything that's been said here. To make it worse studies have shown having urgent messages does increase the the responses businesses are looking to get.

Corey and Fred make excellent points. It's on us to be discerning in terms of both what we want to have and what we need to do in the moment. Some people are constantly rushing through life stressed out considering everything a top priority and others seem to cruise along without taking care of "business." Next-day delivery or waiting until the last minute to shop? Responding to emails immediately or never following up? Living with constant FOMO or ignoring opportunity? Having priorities and perspective are part of living healthfully.
