True story...

 

An employee refused to come into work because his girlfriend hadn't washed his socks. The scaffolder contacted his boss to say that he just couldn't make it in. He tweeted: "I can't come in I can't find any f****** socks she ain't washed f*** all so ain't got nuffin and can't where none because boots got big holes in ffs soz buddy van keys in that box in shelter again."

 

Mmmm, I wonder what's next...underwear?

If I understand the situation correctly, I think the holes in the boots are the more important problem. DJA

I once had a new employee not return to the office because she saw a gecko outside and she has a serious phobia. She wanted me to guarantee that there would never be another one (literally outside) near the front door. If I couldn't do that (hello I can't) she would only come to work with her husband.
