I've had the privilege of driving to New Jersey and Brooklyn this past week.

Planning the trip to Brooklyn on Wednesday, Waze told me it would take about an hour from my house. It actually took over 2 hours...okay. However, I left the appointment at 2:30 and Waze came up with a 1.5 hour drive. It took over 3 hours. 

 

Jersey could've been in a different time zone.

 

Is it me or is there more traffic now than ever before?

Waze is still on lockdown! The traffic is back and it does seem like more. Could be more people driving rather than taking trains. Whatever the reason, it's a relief.

As I was driving I offered a pedestrian a lift, He said no thanks, I'm in a hurry.

I drive an hour and 15 to a half from Oyster Bay to Dobbs Ferry for work three times a week. (teaching in person full-time now. ) Traffic has definitely increased. If I leave any time around rush-hour, that one and a half hour commute becomes 2 1/2 hours easy.

Definitely more traffic theses days. I cringe which I have to into Brooklyn, which I do several times a week. Waze has been off for quite some time now. Or traffic builds unpredictably as the journey continues.

It is frustratingly worse. People are out driving like there is no tomorrow and the construction makes things really bad.
