The Farm System

Last week, Fred blogged about the talent in their minor league system that has bolstered the Yankees, and Fred, as the regulars are sidelined by positive tests for Covid.
Minor league teams are essential to major league teams. The farm system, as it is called, is where talent is “farmed” and sowed for the support and succession of the big league team. The farm system is critical to the organic health of the organization.
There’s a lesson to be learned.
We all need a farm system. Your's and mine may look different from those in Major League Baseball but it’s there — or ought to be. Pay attention and nurture your farm system.

We all need farm systems to balance our lives, our friends, families, clients, portfolios and social capital. In another word, social and financial safety nets. Thanks for posting!

This is so important...look at the Olympics (gymnastics) for example.

interesting concept.
never applied the athletics concept to it.
But bring talent along all the time, and proud of those guided and developed (including within my family).
