Not sure where this quote came from but I had noted it over 3 years ago yet it presented itself to me this morning.

Goals

"Effortlessly flowing though life doing what I love to do."

Now there's a great state of being :) These days I find myself feeling pressed, pressured, and resistant for a variety of reasons. I'm going to "shift my weight" and refocus. So here's a very short list of what I love to do in no particular order.

Barbequing or smoking anything

Playing golf with Norm

Hitting a great golf shot

Solving marketing challenges

Deep conversations

Reading a great book

Connecting with people

Laughing out loud

Eating a great meal

Helping someone

Being with my family

Hugs

You need to be clearer about the smoking part

The curse of many blessings. None of those activities would feel good if your work responsibilities weren’t fulfilled on time. The key is managinng your state and how you dance with your obligations. One half our of meditation a day will actually expand
your time and allow you to be at total peace in the exact circumstances. Meantime, follow guidance NY Health’s Cheryl Lazarus shared with you. Ergo, the stress you are feeling is inviting you ….begging you … to liberate yourself from this self-imposed strait jacket. Breathe and stretch at 20 minute intervals.
Good luck!

Now just ponder how performing each well jives with a successful life!

What you focus on comes to you. Every one of the things on your list of wonders can be done on a regular basis. My most useful tool is the calendar because if I don't have a plan I get that same feeling of pressure and resistance. Everything goes on it and then I can "flow through my days." And when the unexpected happens, which is inevitable, I can more easily reset the sail and adjust the course. As for the smoking anything ...

All the above...even though I've have never played golf with Norman.. actually I don't play golf. I'll add to the list 'cooking a great meal' even if I am the only one eating it.
