Summer Travels

I love July 4th weekend. To me it is the official beginning of the summer; being a bit more relaxed at work, barbecues with friends, days at the pool and beach. But, most importantly, July 4th brings to mind summer vacations.

Almost every travel article I read predicts that travel this summer will be at an all time high. We have plans to bring our kids to Epcot this summer for their Food and Wine Festival. We have been there in the past and always had an incredible experience. The Food and Wine festival is worth the trip to Orlando.

In September, hopefully, my husband and I will be travelling to South Africa on a long awaited combined 60th birthday trip. While the ongoing pandemic has us a bit concerned, we are both very hopeful that we can still make the trip.

Are you travelling soon? Where to?

Being in NYC for me is like being on vacation - since moving here, I don't feel the need to go anywhere except to see the kids. so up next is a trip to SoCal in a couple of weeks. Safe travels!

Wonderful! Kids all over the country for us. Visiting Texas with Justin and his lovely new fiancé, Allie and Jackson in Kentucky (they relocated for his terrific new job at Sazerac company), Dana in Virginia, and mom and dad in Florida. Looking forward to enjoying it all! And like you Rona, the 4th of July is the start of summer! Enjoy your incredible upcoming trips!
