Masked

Categories

As I continue to keep on living my Forever Young fantasy, I realize that, however I may really look, my countenance is naturally masked by my beard.

Quite an advantage males have in this respect!

Is my face sagging, do I have aged lines?   I have no idea, as my face is grown over. What’s more, a smile is quite an umbrella :)

Yes my mask is silver, but nobody is perfect!

Sounds like you might want to try unmasking for a day. Has anyone in Gotham ever seen you without it? How about you shave it off if we can raise $1000 for the Gotham foundation? I will donate the first $100.

Given how long you've been sporting the mask, you obviously didn't grow a beard to cover up signs of aging. I think attempts to cover up make the signs more obvious. BTW, why did you grow it?

Keep smiling and you will continue to live your Forever Young fantasy! You show show everyone your black mask!

Forever young with it or without it. It’s your mindset, drive and perspective on life. :)))

Aging is inevitable. Getting old is not... as long as you follow a few key steps: stay active in Gotham, bio hack with Juice Plus and laff. We are human plants.

You threatened to shave your stash :)

I don't look at as a mask. It is a feature of your face that you maintain like your hair. It is after all, natural for men to have this feature. The question really is, why do men so often shave it?

I shaved my (very white) beard a week ago in an effort to feel younger for the summer, and it backfired. My family suggested I looked better with it. So I'm growing it again. Very subjective, I think, but the old-fashioned thought that a beard "masked" is no longer really true, I think.

Everyone wants to live forever but no one wants to get old. Love your beard. Don’t consider it a mask at all. You are very much you and smart people are grateful.
