Anticipating?

Picture this.

A local restaurant. A favorite. Where the locals eat. You’ve eaten there before. Often

Only problem is that they don’t take reservations. Often a wait.

My question is. While walking over to the restaurant do you anticipate waiting for a table?

In your minds eye, do you see yourself waiting or being seated immediately?

It seems to me that the answer to that question tells you a lot about yourself. Think about it — hopefully not while waiting for a table.

You mean like finding a parking spot right in front of the restaurant?

I have found that the wait at those places is the fun part - it's the "schtick" that brings two types of people. There are the ones who either enjoy grumbling because they like to be miserable. And there are those like me and Victoria (see her response above) who find it an opportunity for fun.

I never really thought about it that much. I guess based on the restaurant and time going I might try to mentally plan for the potential wait. If there is a wait, I do like to walk around and check things out. My wife on the other hand becomes impatient.
