My family all laughed at me when I brought it home. They asked me how often would I use it, where would I put it etc.? But I was intent on showing them it was a useful item.

I am talking about my Dash small six egg cooker. I purchased it about a year ago much to my family’s complete amusement. It has, however, quickly become a much-used item in my household. Everyone seems to like a perfectly cooked hard boiled egg, whether  to eat alone or add to a salad.

Despite the initial skepticism the egg cooker has become one of our favorite gadgets. The success of that purchase has even emboldened me to purchase a Black and Decker personal use smoothie maker. And while I heard the familiar snickers when I took the smoothie maker out of the box this morning, I see them eyeing the chocolate protein banana smoothie I am enjoying as I write this blog.
