It happened again last night. I do not believe I will have to recount the details of what occurred after you read my questions. So here goes:

 

Toilet seat, up or down? Why? And what about the cover?

Easy answer. Pandemic rules: cover down and then flush so who'd bother to uncover or more following that?

With my healing wife, I am especially aware to leave the seat down. Cover down to flush #2 but optional if #1.
At night, I just got into the habit to sit and therefore no need to worry about seat being left up.

Lol. The debate raged in our house for years with 3 boys and 3 girls under one roof. Now not so much an issue. Basically, somebody always has to do some thing, raise it or lower it. I like Corey‘s rule for public use bathrooms, but we are just the two of us in our bubble. lol.

We had the same issue with the kids' bathroom. But there the girls greatly outnumbered the boys. Majority ruled.

Grateful it is not an issue at our place. Seat down, cover down, flush when I am not on Zoom.
