A Virtual Snow Day
As I write this blog, it is Sunday and I am listening to the weather reports predicting a major snow storm. I sit here and wonder, now that most of our work is done virtually, what will a snow day look like in a virtual world?
Will students whom are learning online be given a snow day? How will school districts coordinate the effect of a snow day on those students learning in the classroom versus those who are learning online?
Will virtual meetings continue? How about virtual court conferences? For me, the effect of the expected storm, which is supposed to continue into Tuesday, will be interesting. For the past two weeks I have been engaged in a virtual trial. The Judge has been presiding over the trial from her home. The Plaintiff’s attorney has been trying the case from her home in Florida (she has been banned from telling us any longer about the weather in Florida
