What's the Plan?

Last year at this time we headed into the New Year with 2020 vision. Who could have predicted what was in store for us?.

As we head into 2021, we still live in CoronaTimes. Is that changing the way you are looking forward? Has it changed how you think or speak of the upcoming year? This is usually the time for making promises or plans and heading into the new year with resolve. It’s the time for goal setting and “road mapping” – I’ve checked those boxes already irrespective of the ongoing pandemic.

Last weekend, my grands all asked when the granny blitz would start up again – I haven’t traveled since last February. My 7 year old really poured it on, “Gma will I EVER get to play with you again?” and so I blurted out, “I’m planning to be there in April to celebrate birthdays and all the 2020 holidays at once!”

Despite the uncertainty brought on by the pandemic,  I believe it will happen. What are your plans for 2021?

To see the light at the end and emerge happily from the tunnel!

You keep pointing out silver linings so you are seeing the light ... follow that and I will see you on the other side happily as two can be.

At least we live in an era where technology enables you to see your grandchildren from far away! Still sad, but a positive spin.

Hope to get back to fun with people all around.
Hugging family and friends.
Touching comment by your gdchild. So hard on children to comprehend and to deal with this situation. Will they expect IT to happen again!

2021... Continue to stay safe and keep my family safe!
Shelley, I love the idea of celebrating all of the 2020 holidays and birthday into one!

We have learned so much about being nimble, creative and resilient in how we address challenges. That's one of the positives that's coming out of CoronaTimes.

Good plan, Ray. Keeping our families and each other safe is so important. And when I get to be with the kiddos it's going to be some party!

There are plans and plans. Some represent hopes. Others may be more likely. These includes Opening Day (not likely) at Citifield and concert rescheduled from 2020 - some multiple times; I miss the lives show. I feel pretty good about the shows set for the summer and the 9/11 Mets Yankees game at Citifield. There's a Spring Pythian Convention I suspect will get rescheduled for the 3rd time. It'll be interested if any later May shows go forward and they are special ones for me.
