The question, “how can we help you?” asked most often by Nancy Schess at Gotham meetings was directed a little differently as we closed a Gotham COVID Review a few weeks back. Those are Gotham's magic words.

We are a resilient, creative, caring and hearty group of professionals, managers, owners, entrepreneurs - whatever label signifies “person in charge and responsible for others the business environment.”

We discussed people for whom we are responsible and how they been affected by changes in the workplace during these CoronaTimes. How are they impacted by working from home? Do they feel productive and efficient? Is their creativity stifled? Do they feel trusted?

"How can we help them?” Magic words! Why magic? Because some words create brain sparks; they are words that make good things happen. They are magical.

What are your magic words?

My mother always said there were three magic words, Please, Thank You. Since then I've learned that you get more with a kind word and a gun, than just a kind word.
