Finding Joy

The blog Corey posted yesterday inspired me. Corey wrote, “In these pandemic plagued times where most in person holiday gatherings shrink to households and some enlarge by virtual means, why not add some music to help brighten our moods.

I wanted to take Corey’s topic and go in a different direction. In these pandemic times, when we are constantly being told that the worse is yet to come, how do you find your joy? What thoughts, other than the music that Corey provides for us, puts a smile on your face and helps you move forward in the day to day?

For me, it is one word, family. Where do you find your joy?

I find joy in seeing the bright side, taking advantage of the unique circumstances, being creative and finding a Silver Lining!

Just remember, nothing lasts forever. Take what you will out of that. But I think Covid is having its last laugh now and then plans to go far far away, at least up to 95% of it...

I find joy in waking up and knowing I get another chance to go for a run, to work at a business I love, to have FaceTime and phone calls with family and friends, and to continue the adventure. I remind myself every morning that it wasn't that long ago that when asked, this same question I was stumped. It was a call to look around - blessings are everywhere if we choose to see them.

I find Joy along with Pride underneath my kitchen sink. We've been using these household clearners for years.

I'm with you, family. There is literally no place like home. I just went with my oldest to look at an apartment. He will be leaving the nest. I am so excited for him!
