Even James Bond?

My son and his handsome siamese son skim are on a James Bond streak; watching every James Bond movie while he enjoys a classic gin martini three oloves up... Shaken, not stirred. It is carefully selected to reflect the man-vibes Bond wants his viewers to feel. This evening’s pick, shows our hero Mr. Bond looking up and out of the window-well of a concrete basement. The handsome Bond is wearing a well-tailored, pale blue suit, while the rays of sunshine pierce their way down and thru the metal grates, onto his chiseled chin. Patrick, mixing up the usual, instead made himself a Rob Roy (a variation of the Manhattan) for tonights viewing, as he believed the Johnny Walker matched the stiff upper lip, tough-guy appeal, for this lone wolf James Bond in self-isolation. Patrick stopped the frame of the movie and said, “Ma, even James Bond is being quarantined in the basement! We should be dressed like Bond. Enough with the jeans and T-shirts, I’m wearing a suit, even in the basement.” Are you dressed for the occasion? Maybe we create our occasion? What are you wearing today? Be more like Bond. Maybe we constitute “Wear a suit, Wednesday!”

Love it! Who was your favorite Bond??! Sean, Roger, George, Pierce, Tim, Daniel???? Did I forget a few? We are Sean fans (RIP) and yes, dress - and drink - the part!! Evening gowns and bikinis?? (Fun fact: Besides the Bond movies, producer Broccoli also made Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, from the book by James Bond author Ian Fleming.)

Love the Bond series. But to correct your Martini, Bond most of the time in the movies ordered his with Vodka, not Gin. Always shaken of course.

James Bond walked into a bar and approached a beautiful woman. He said"Bond, James Bond".
She said "Off F****k Off".

I have not worn a suit since I stopped practicing law. That said, even working from home, I get dressed for work. OK, so during CoronaTimes, I don't always wear shoes, but I do have "work wear" that I can change out of at the end of the day so I know it's not work time. As for Bond, he drove great cars!

Definitely a Sean fan, (RIP). He is stunning, manly, and cool. I actually dressed up today. In honor of his greatness!

Good point!! I actually dressed up today in honor of Bond’s coolness.

He should read Ian Fleming books. Bond never would drink and olive martini he drank Vesper Martinis which were named after his love. Which were shaken and not stirred to allow the Lillet to get into the Gin. traditional martini you bruise the gin whcih introduces greater bitterness...Bond is my favorite I have read all of the books all of the movies love....fast cars, fast women, he always comes though! be more like Bond I like that mantra!!

I agree with Josh - if you are a Bond fan - you NEED to read the original Ian Fleming books.
