In a box

I think the celebration Fred wrote about yesterday was caused by at least these three things; the weather, the results and the undeniable fact that we are all living in a box with significantly less human contact. Whether it's our home, our car or the small square screen of a computer, we exist within these constraints because of a raging virus that's ripping through our lives.

In some ways I'm thankful for the reflective time, since I experienced tragedy in my business recently. But in other ways, I'm very frustrated by the experience. We are humans and as such need human contact to survive. It's how we are built.

I am so looking forward to the day I can hug my friends and family again without fear. Till that day arrives, I continue to "mask up" and bring wipes where ever I go. I hope you do too.

You get it. You hit the nail on the head. We need to be vigilant, but it’s far from easy.

You are spot on. When I think about what if we didn't have Zoom. What if we didn't have nice comfortable homes to hunker down in and the tools to stay connected however incomplete it feels. What if we had no options. Gratitude over grumpiness and determination over despair. This is not time to cave - we have more to do in the world. Sending virtual hugs Mitch - let them suffice for now.

Thank goodness for the technology we have today to help us stay connected. Imagine what might be without it?

Yesssss. And agree with Dan! As hard as this is, could you imagine where we’d be without technology?

Hugs for the good times and the sad times are so missed.
So hard not to feel physically close!

I do. I was on a Teams court appearance yesterday and the attorneys and judge were discussing, in part, how much we miss the human contact with one another. Sometimes it's hard but absolutely necessary.
