Inspired

I gave an upbeat presentation at Gotham NY Legal last week.  I offered an analysis that got “confirmed” yesterday.  As I periodically reviewed updates, I mused about music that might fit.  Folks who follow this blog know I created topical playlists.  On Friday morning, one song came into my head. I thought it would be in one list; it actually surprised me it was not there; I thought about adding it; might still happen.  I then found it in my Songs to Inspire (aka “Inspiration”) set; I queued it up.

On my way to and from a nearby appointment that afternoon, I played it in Apple Music loud.  Sounded nice and fitting. Still do not know why it made one list and not the other, and whether a change will occur.  Driving yesterday I played the “inspiring” set.  Definitely fits the mood.

I love those songs— thank you for another wonderful list —my house will be filled with music today. For the first time in a long time so is my heart.

The won worked but I so much prefer Baba O’Riley to that. Just cpnext prefers “fooled.”

One word as a song unto itself that always fills my soul is "Hallelujah." A song for our country today. Leonard Cohen further does it glory.

So I found out yesterday that I am a putz. I had no idea that some lyrics from the classic, "Turn, Turn, Turn," came from the Bible. You're just never too old to learn . . .

Love Traffic as well! John Barleycorn Must Die among my fave LPs. I thought about Come Together and thought that explained your Happy Hours song choice!
Corey Bearak

Fascinating. I can only surmise you do not own any vinyl that includes that tune; says so right on the label. And a former Rabbi at my former schul used to sing it at some holidays (though the Seeger arrangement).
