No one comes up our driveway...

We are ready with plenty of candy at our house. As for your question, IMHO, better not to wipe down every piece...wrapped candy is totally safe. It is up to parents to monitor their children's candy.

I put it in a big bowl and going to use tings to hand it out. No one here yet.

Been thinking about your questions and not sure how we are dealing with it. The local parade is not taking place. There is some kind of alt. event but not sure I'd participate if of age or with young-uns (or grand-kids).

Our neighborhood is usually the hot spot for trick or treaters.
So far no one yet, but we will giving put small bags of chips this year. Any left overs, I won't feel as guilty eating them. No, not necessary to individualty them. They will mingle with the other stuff kids get. Let the parents deal with that post door knocking.

I saw some cute setups in the Park. In one, each "household" was represented by an adult sitting on a blanket and the little kids went from one to the other shouting "trick or treat" and getting candy. It was adorable. And the businesses on the UWS were giving out candy as usual and there were plenty of kids loading up. Some traditions will not be stopped.

We never get kids, but I buy candy anyway "just in case" and then I get to eat it!!!
