New Dream

Categories

As a follow up to my recent Recurring Dreams blog, last week I had a brand new dream.

I was running hard in a road race and I was on pace for a good time when I turned a corner and saw a long train (pictured) approaching an intersection at breakneck speed.

This is where my dream memory did not serve me.  I can’t remember what happened next,ie, did I stop, did I squeak by or...

Has anyone ever had this dream and if so what happened and what does it mean?

I think it means you need to slow down and not worry too much about winning the race :)

No trains in my dreams - at least not that I remember. Perhaps not remembering is best.

Yesterday you were reading the list of all the things we have in the calendar for the next 6 weeks - and that's just in your Gotham life. It made you a little LOCO

Either way, you woke up to have a great day! :) dreams are for defragging your brain. Maybe they don’t “mean” a thing!

Not so much with a train but definently ones involving running to get somewhere in a hurry and something causing an impass with a decision to be made. You may have a lot going on in your life. Subconscious is amazing.

Maybe it's saying for Gotham Karaoke you should sing "C'mon and ride the train by Quad City DJ's. Then everyone on the call can do the dance as you sing it.

Well, at least it inspired your comment. Thanks :)

Isn't there a thing that you can't see yourself die in a dream? Is that real or an old wive's tale? If so, you know you didn't intersect with the train. Sorry for the morbid thought on a dreary day. . . .

It occurred to me. The death thing. Or fear of death. But on an energetic level, it can have other implications. It is clearly ominous. If you like, tell yourself befpre you go to sleep, no trains and no nightmares.

I've hard recurrent dream for y ears about missing trains to important meetings in other
cities. I take this to mean performance anxiety. Or a time-management issue. When I remember to tell myself not to have nightmares, however, it generally works....until I forget. Just sayin'.
