Live Music

I’ll paraphrase from the Hebrew: “How good and pleasant it is ... people sitting together.”
Meaningful on so many levels - both figuratively and literally - especially now.
The thoughts came to me last weekend as we sat on a lawn at the Clark Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts and listened to live music.
The first live performance that we’ve seen in over six months.
Outside, socially distanced with masks. The air was a bit chilly and the music kept us warm. It was like old times (I’d say it felt normal, but I’m not sure “normal” is relevant any longer) — like old times, except for the masks.

Sounds wonderful-I am enjoying the image and living vicariously through it for now. Maybe this transition from conoratimes is when we can decide what things are important enough to keep and what activities don't really mean that much. Live entertainment is something I want back for sure.

It's been awhile for sure. I still miss sporting events. An entire baseball season and now football. But music too is missed. Looking forward to the not too distant future.

Lucky for you and Flo.
Sounds like a beautiful afternoon.
A local friend does an outdoor jam every couple of weeks and I was invited to watch.
Yes seeing live music is something that feels so good and NORMAL.
