The Adjustments We Make

It arrived on Saturday and I could not have been more excited. My, oh my, how I have changed.

At another point in my life, I would never have been moved by Saturday’s delivery. I would never have even known how it worked or had interest in finding out. It just was not my thing.

But people change. Things change. Interests change. Sometimes, change is good. The last ten years have been different. I do not really know what flipped the switch. But it flipped.

So, when my new (well, old and rented) elliptical showed up on Saturday I was ecstatic. I have not been in a gym since March. Sure, I walk every day, stretch and have done some exercise but it is not the same. I was so ecstatic that I was not fazed by the fact that my basement has a dropped ceiling and we literally had to remove a tile to avoid hitting my head on the ceiling.

My gym routine – a COVID adjustment.

I remember when I first met you and was jealous that you did not need to exercise...

I started doing Pilates and yoga in my house in April as a way of starting something new. Now I can't imagine starting my day without 15 minutes of Pilates. The changes we make. . .

Love it! I feel you. My elliptical is a part of our living room furniture now. Looks weird but I can see the tv. Lol

Ive had a treadmill in the house for years. After the first six months it made a great planter.
