Rainy Days and Mondays

A few weeks ago Corey wrote a blog in which he praised a rainy day. He asked for song titles mentioning rainy days. In my comments I wrote, “So I guess the song ‘Rainy days and Mondays’ does not apply to you."

But does it apply to you? In the past, on most Sunday nights I find myself thinking that the weekend went too quickly. Most often, I would have to try to find something to look forward in the week ahead to defeat the Monday morning blues.

Now that I'm back in the office on Mondays, I'm finding that those Sunday night dreads are creeping back in. Are you one of those people who dread Monday mornings on Sunday night? How do you avoid the Monday morning blues?

I can only think of Denny Doherty in his beautiful tenor singing https://youtu.be/h81Ojd3d2rY

Until I go back to office that dread does not exist...

Indeed the weekend seems to fly by way too fast, but then actually everything is flying by way too fast. Happy birthday Rona

I don't dread it since it's part of life. It makes you appreciate the time off you actually do get and your vacations are more well deserved. You can't expand your empire when your dreading the inevitable.

I do get a bit agitated thinking in bed Sunday night, even when working from home. But less than when having to go to the office. The worst is the Monday after a vacation (as in today). Very daunting having to catch up.

I felt that way working from home. Although, that did bring along its own level of stress.

Oh yes! I gauge the level of stress by what time on Sunday it starts to creep in.
