Wearing White

Categories

My sister-in-law--whom I love-- and I were together last weekend. She was wearing a beautiful white sweater with a white vest. I had on a light grey sweater.

By the end of the evening, my grey sweater was stained in two places. My sister-in-law’s sweater, however, looked as fresh and clean as it did when she first walked into the room.

There must be a trick to wearing white. I, clearly, do not know what it is. Do you? Can you wear white?

I like darker, but still draw stains...

I haven’t learned it. (But I do buy white long sleeve tees in bulk when I find a style I like for jeans and under suits!)

Tide to go works well for me. Went to a Wedding on Friday and dropped pasta on my tie within the first 5 minutes of the cocktail hour. Luckily the groom had a tide to go stick in the Men's bathroom.

I'm the same with white tee shirts. I also but them in bulk becasue I stain them so quickly.

I rarely wear that color. As to stains I arm myself with ("Tide to Go") stain remover (folks who endure know to ask me for "help."). The only white tee I currently own has my favorite Poco LP cover (not the record but the cover to be clear) on the back and the John Hartman Poco Legend horse graphic on the front.
