Where Oh Where Is This Blog Going?

I often find it interesting as to where the comments on my blog will take the discussion. Recently, the comments to a blog I wrote about fast food centered on the merits of coffee in the morning. While the topics may be somewhat related, it is not the direction I expected the discussion to go.

Nancy recently wrote a blog attesting to her admiration of teen environmental activist Greta Thunberg. That blog resulted in an, off the blog, email conversation between myself, Nancy, and Corey concerning Nancy’s use of the word, “admirational.” Again, a topic that might seem somewhat related to Nancy’s blog topic, given that Nancy used that word, but I’m not sure whether that’s where Nancy thought her blog may lead the readers.

So my question this week is this, do you ever look back and read the comments to see what the actual discussion is focusing on? And, if so, are you ever surprised as to where the discussion went?

Happy New Year!!

I think far more people should both read and comment on our hard earned (crafted) blogs!

I definitely enjoy seeing where people go with things. Sometimes it is surprising.

The blogs do tend to get comments that are not necessarily what the blogger was asking. But I think that can be a good thing. Thought provoking for sure. Looking back will prove this.

I look back, often to see what other people were thinking.
