Say Goodbye to Fast Food

Categories

Welcome to September Gotham. As many of you know, I’m a lifelong Weight Watcher. I attend meetings and I follow them on social media. This morning I read something interesting on their Instagram account, a challenge to avoid eating fast food throughout the month of September.

When I first read the challenge, I thought it would be easy for me, as I do not consider myself a fast food eater. Then, when I read the “fine print”, the difficulty level for me increased as it included Star Bucks, Dunkin Donuts etc. I have been known to stop, often on my way to work, for a Dunkin Donuts coffee with an egg white veggie wrap. But, for the month of September, I am going to say goodbye to my egg white wrap and coffee.

Do you eat fast food? What would you have to say goodbye to?

Happy Labor Day Gotham.

Coffee, especially Black Coffee, should not count!

I totally agree with Corey that coffee should not count! I'm sure the challenge was to eliminate unhealthy fast food only! You wouldn't eat that anyway.

I gave up fast food about a month ago. But I would count black coffee as fast food in any case. Flavored coffees I could see, but not black.

I agree with Corey too, coffee should not count. I do have pizza once in while not sure if that's considered fast food? No other fast food.

Interesting how the topic turned to a debate about coffee. You never know where a blog will go. . .
