Alone?

Have you ever just wanted to be left alone? A little precious time.
So it was when I went to the car wash recently. I took a book and  was so looking forward to those few minutes.
I found my way to the waiting room with my book.
“Nice day, isn’t it?” asked the woman who followed me into the waiting room.
How to ignore her? Couldn’t.
And I just wanted to be left alone.

I find alone time crucial. Keep those boundaries strong!

I like alone time too, but more in the comfort of my home, usually just when I get home from work. I need about 20-30 minutes of me time to relax, read a bit and just chill. When out, I enjoy socializing and will strike up conversations in public. Maybe it's sales person in me...

I really enjoy alone time, especially with a good book.

I find hiding out and private time as essential as socializing. These are opposite sides of the same coin, e.g., sanity. One must be artful in public places, especially airplanes. Books have been written on how to dodge busybodies. In the home, negotiating a time/space of one’s own is also vital.
