Thanks, son.   Around 6:30 on Monday evening, my texts light up with that all important reminder.   I wonder all the time why I can’t be more like Rona. I know her blog writing routine is a weekend endeavor on a quiet morning with a cup of coffee.
Mitch’s recent blog about the best advice he had ever received-which came from his father-inspired me to think about the best advice I have ever received. For me, it came from my former father-in-law.
First off, thank you to Friday's blogger for his commentary on today's blogger.
I received it about 15 years ago. My Dad had started working for me 3 days a week after he had retired. Some of you may remember him when you called my office.   On a particularly rough day, he sauntered in my office and sat down. He asked if I was okay and said he had some advice which, in and of itself, was an unusual statement to hear.
One of the best things about Gotham is the willingness of each member to be of help.
This weekend we “fall back” - - resetting our clocks as daylight savings time ends. This semi-annual adjustment will spur the semi-annual focus and discussion about daylight savings and its effect on our lives, health and routines.
There are many things in our day that can disrupt our normal flow, make you late for certain obligations (like blogging) and events that will have a lasting effect.... I know some of you will remember the blogs I have done in the past which included words of wisdom from our wonderful companion, Musha.  Well, almost 2 weeks ago, Musha made it known that his wisdom was needed elsewhere.  We had to say goodbye to one of the best dogs I have ever had in my life (and I have had MANY).
How do you feel about Sunday's time change?
