As kids we learned about four seasons: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. We even had a TV character named Princess Summerfall Winterspring   

One of the highlights of our recent trip to northern California was a luxurious day spent in Sonoma.  My daughter planned the whole excursion for the four of us – complete with door to door service and a scrumptious midday lunch.  Next time I see you, I encourage you to ask to see pictures.  

My husband and I were looking for a “new” television show for us to begin watching. As we scanned through Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount Plus etc, we came across a television show, “Under the Dome.”     The premise of the show is that an invisible dome suddenly enclosed a New England town. The show was produced by Steven Spielberg and Stephen King. As we are both science fiction fans-and I am a Stephen King fan-my husband and I decided to try it. We both liked it and are now bingeing it.

Tomorrow is my birthday and over the last 10 years I have developed a tradition of memorializing it with a photo standing next to the applicable highway mile marker.   We "Snow Bird" in Key West which is the southern most point in the continental United States and US Highway 1 begins there at mile marker Zero.   Each year we venture up US 1 to the photo opp spot and we usually are accompanied by others as we turn it into a rolling party event.  

The tragic accident at the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore is sending shock waves through the country and, in addition to the loss of life, will be felt for many years to come.For me, news of the accident has a very personal side.
