Ah, the Long Island Expressway—our famed LIE,Where "express" is ironic, yet we use it to flee. From Queens to Riverhead, it's a daily test,Of patience and playlists—and holding in stress. Like the Southern State Parkway, with some curves so tight,It demands your focus both day and night. It’s narrow, it’s wild, it’s got no shoulder—And somehow everyone drives ten miles over.
I am involved with two separate groups, each of which buy weekly lottery tickets (thank you Rosalia and Mitch) and, to date, neither group has won, but winning doesn't seem to be the true benefit. The fellowship of being part of a group, with a positive common goal, is the true benefit, as we make believe (dream) we are going to win and talk and think as to what we would do with our sudden riches. It's a lot of fun :) What would you do if you won the lottery?
Oftentimes we’ll just put the TV on in the evening for background noise while we clean up the dishes and move on to other tasks. Everyone is still using zoom on a daily basis, it has become apart of the everyday fabric along with a few other platforms that realized they needed to catch up. But 5 years later I have found zoom meetings to have become over crowded, the more prople that join the smaller everyones real estate is on the screen.

I am Jewish. I am an Ashkenazi Jew. One of my father’s core religious beliefs, however, was that everyone should follow their religion in their own way. My father was raised Orthodox, yet he chose to raise his family in a conservative manner.
Most people think networking is about meeting folks to do business with or to aid them move up the ladder in their careers.
You may know I drive a manual shift. There are very few on the road today and it certainly puts me squarely into a specific age demographic. So when I saw this image on the rear windshield of a Subaru WRX, I couldn't help but smile. True that!
