This past Tuesday night we had 2 Art Aficionado friends over for what I have dubbed as a Social Art Project.  It took place in my Artist wife Joanne's Art studio and there was champagne, Dylan music and delicious Greek food, but mostly it was about creating Art.

Last Sunday, we were at an upscale art fair in Southampton. Very upscale.Big tents set on an open field. Hundreds of galleries.All of a sudden, we heard what sounded like a train roaring by.

AM Radio. Some will say that AM Radio has the largest audience of any media platform. Some are asking if it will survive in the future. There have been some headlines that a few car companies will no longer offer it. Tesla says the AM frequency interferes with the battery operations so Tesla's do not have AM Radio.  If you listen to AM Radio does that mean you are old? I listen to it a lot, mostly 770 AM. My kids will always insist on changing it when they are in the car. I guess that means I am old. 

What did you think of Prime Day this year?  Are you an Amazon shopper and did you indulge?   I completely passed this year, and I have to admit I am a bit of an Amazon fan.  The convenience is hard to beat.  But, the Prime Day hype just didn’t call me this year.  

I have written about this subject before. A new event occurred that I found so unnerving that I had to write about it again.   My step-son recently got engaged.  Right after the engagement, on that Saturday night, both immediate families met for dinner. The next day, Sunday, my step-son planned a party at a local pub for their entire families and their friends.  

Occasionally, we attend a Broadway show with friends; they choose the show; (on the date of) an earlier group event we ventured instead to the South Orange Performing Arts Center in New Jersey to see Richie Furay.

I had called Verizon Thursday afternoon to complain about their coverage. It has gotten worse over the past 6 months. Areas which usually showed full bars now barely have two and sometimes the coverage is nonexistent.   The woman who took my call told me I had to update the SIM card in my iPhone and gave me explicit instructions which I followed...after we disconnect, turn off your phone, remove the SIM card, turn your phone back on and snap the QR code she was going to sending me through email.  

We have started going back to the movies, but following our last, most recent, visit I'm not quite sure...
