A client of mine has received a summons of notice (see attached).  This
complaint should be handled and covered by my client's insurance company
however; my client recently found out that she was not covered during the
time of the incident (04/08/2002).  Her insurance company dropped her due to
"non-payment".  My client has never been late with her insurance payments.
The insurance company informed my client that her broker did not submit
payment on her behalf.  What can she do?  I filed a complaint with the NYS
Insurance Dept. on her behalf but what else can she do?  She needs to
respond to this summons by April 8, 2005. HELP.
