Behind Closed Car Doors

It’s definitely something I have reprimanded my husband and kids for doing when I am in the car with them. But, it is something I am just as guilty as doing when I am driving alone in a car.  If another driver does something that makes me angry, i.e. driving too slowly or cuts me off, I very loudly and freely yell and scream at them. Not only do I yell, but I curse. I use words that most people who know me would not believe I even know.

Of course, I do all of my yelling and cursing with the car windows closed so no one else could possibly hear me. What about you? Are you a covert curser and yeller?

I submit that I respond appropriate to all situations (except when encumbered by a certain presence who I do not expect to read this response unless someone brings it to her attention). Recall my comment to Mitch's blog on Saturday.

I often wish I had a water cannon to use as I spew venom.

This makes me so uncomfortable. Might be close quarters, might be fear of the others person's road rage. I actually squirm in my seat and there are some people I refuse to drive with. Personally, I could care less when someone honks at me, cuts me off, gives me the finger---whatever--I vividly remember the baby days when I inadvertenly cut people off and was grateful when people just let it go.....I had one guy follow me home..because I coasted through a stop sign (close to home)---I wasn't paying attention...scary stuff
