New York City Lights

Holidays

There is something very special about New York City during holiday season. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, something in the air says holiday and special times.  The air just feels different.

The streets are crowded, the streets and stores are lit and decorated and restaurants are buzzing.

I have not been in NYC for the last few weeks (I don’t recommend COVID to anyone).  This morning I am excited to get on the Long Island Railroad and head in.  And if you know me at all, that is a huge statement.

Wishing you all the happiest of holidays.

I miss that this time of year in NY. I just got a small taste at the Gotham Holiday Party. I did not miss the traffic thought...

I agree Nancy. While it can be cold, I always encourage my family to visit during the holiday season because the city is soooo magical. Stewart and I used to have a holiday tradition of going caroling in the city on Christmas Eve. The last few years travel plans have interrupted that, as is the case this year. But if ever we are around, it is our go to for holiday festivities. As he says, he will sing all carols written by a Jewish author....which is about 95% of them!
