Texts versus emails - is that the question?
It has become increasingly clear to me that, if you really need to get in touch with someone, texting is more effective than email. The reasons abound. I even find myself texting someone to tell them that I sent them an email.
There was a time when it was acceptable to not share your cellphone number. Covid, the lockdowns and remote work changed all that.

I find texting to be my preferred method of messaging since I don't receive my emails in real-time. This allows me to stay connected and receive information promptly.

Texting has become the faster response method. But I still tell clients to email me if there us a need for better ability to forward info throughout my work enviornment. Yes I do often text to see if an email was received
