A New Deadline

Categories
Lifestyle

We all have our deadlines. Work deadlines are usually the most prevalent. We all know when deadlines are approaching, and we all handle them differently.

I seem to have a new deadline in my life, the Amazon shipping deadline. I have become very dependent on Amazon for many of my basic needs from food items to clothing etc. If I am going away on a trip, I will turn to Amazon for items necessary for the trip such as tees shirts, cosmetic items etc. For my daughter’s bridal shower, I used Amazon for a lot of the items from stands for the desserts to personalized mints with my daughter’s and the groom’s name.

I tend to use Amazon because of their short shipping window. Days before my daughter’s bridal shower I realized I needed command strips to hang a backdrop I had ordered (from another website). Luckily, I was within the Prime shipping period and able to get my command strips in time.

Once my order does not fit within the Amazon shipping period, I know that my event or trip is coming close.  Are you as aware of the Amazon deadline as I am?

I do not rely on Amazon. Some items we need for the family I have one of my children order via prime. I choose not to enjoy a prime account.

I am not aware, but we do enjoy amazon.

Not a Prime Member, buy got caught in their web when I recently placed an order and didn't realize it automatically checked Prime membership on my order. I then got all of these emails welcoming me. It was not easy finding where to cancel the 30 day trial and that made more inclined to not want it. Shame on Amazon for this deceitful practice.
