I find it hard to truly relax. My mind is always on overdrive. Between work, social activities, family business, worrying about my kids (grown adults) and trying to carve out some quality time for my honey and my puppy, it seems "I" get lost in the crunch.

The last time I truly relaxed was on my 50th birthday on vacation in Jamaica. But I find relaxation in physical activity, whether it’s work or exercise. Try pickleball!

It can be difficult for sure and I am guilty of this as well. Lately, I have been very consumed with work and it is spilling into my personal life too much. You have to set limits and stick to it.

Taking care of ourselves needs to come first. You may have been told to try meditation. If not, try meditation. There is an energy that runs outside of our mind. At a significant slower frequency. Where the breath meets the heart. Where silence is loud. There are web based resources to help. One is “Calm”.
