Time Marches On

Yesterday I celebrated my pictured Birthday

Satchel Paige once said "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you was?"

How profound! Feel free to ask yourself :)

I would be 40, when I qualified for the Boston Marathon.

I don't dwell on the ever mounting number as I know I'm in the process of becoming a Tribal Elder and that I've notched another mile on my way to Mile Marker 100!!!

Age is just a number. It's how you live that puts meaning to that number. Enjoy that journey

I say it as often as I can - "grow old and die young!" Adding more life to your years is what matters more that just adding years and you are doing that with grace!

HB again, teammate. Funny, someone asked me that question yesterday and I said 22 since that’s what I’ve said for so long. Then I corrected it to 28 and now I realize is more like 38.

Keep living with enthusiasm and staying relevant will come naturally! May the years keep rolling on as the mileposts.

Great wisdom from Satchel; thanks for continuing to enlighten and inspire us. Wish you and Charcoal many more mile markers :)
