The Morning After

It’s the day after Super Bowl. We had over twenty people at our house last night. My husband habitually had a Super Bowl party since before we met. Since we got married, almost twenty years ago, we continued that tradition.

As expected, and as most of us are, the day after Super Bowl, I am exhausted. The Super Bowl generally runs late my husband and I are often working let into the night cleaning.

This year, after twenty years, I finally learned my lesson. I scheduled myself just for an office day. No court, no clients coming in. Just me in the office, working at my own, slow for today, pace.

How are you today?

I'm fine. We maintained our42 year tradition of not engaging in any Super Bowl activities. I guess when you are Lions' fans, it's not a big deal. Glad you gave yourself a break this year.

Great game yesterday and I concur to not schedule a heavy Monday following the big game. First time in 7 years I haven't been in Vegas SB weekend. Felt a bit like a fish out of water yesterday.

No meetings until at least 9:00AM (all virtual). Thankfully it held this year as well.

I have a confession to make. I didn't even realize that the courts were closed today. I'm not in court only because I couldn't schedule it. :)
