I think they got it wrong when they decided that “Gaslighting” is the word of the year.
I was speaking to Nancy the other day and we both commented on how many plans have been changed, often at the last minute......And how we have had to adjust accordingly.
I think the word of the year should have been “Pivot”.

Back in the day Pivot was a position on the basketball court, as in George Mikan.

Pivot also refers to when the 2nd baseman or shortstop catches the ball, tags 2nd base and pivots to throw to 1st base to complete a double play! Love the word as it has multiple uses
