Laughs

I love to laugh. As a matter of fact I still even chuckle at Norman's jokes :).

For some reason, in the middle of doing my daily pushups the other morning, I remembered when I had one of those uncontrollable, belly hurts laughs. In my memory of that moment, it seemed to last a half hour but I'm sure it was a bit shorter. I started laughing and experienced the joy all over again. I'm so grateful for those experiences. They don't happen very often.

How many times have you laughed so hard for so long that your cheeks and belly hurt?

Norm engenders more than chuckles :)

There is a book called Laughter Is The Best Medicine written by Norman Cousins. Every time I told a joke my mother would say that’s my son the doctor

I laugh a lot (that's why I'm designated as Laugher #2) :-). My belly and cheeks hurt when I saw "Noises Off" for the first time. Looking for more like that!

I have told this story to my husband. The first time I saw him was across the room at a bar mitzvah. He was speaking to someone and I could see that he was enjoying a good laugh. It really warmed my heart and made it easy to walk over and speak to him.
