Packing

I have noticed that, through the years living with my husband, we are very different packers. I open my suitcase, pull out from my drawers and closet what I think I need and just pack.

My husband, on the other hand, is a very meticulous packer. He starts writing a list weeks before we leave. As the trip gets closer, he revises the list.  Then he uses his final list as a “bible,” to guide his packing. He rarely ever strays from the list.

How do you pack for vacation?

I take what I need. Wrap it in a red bandana , tie it on a pole and carry it on my shoulder

I am more like your husband when going on a vacation trip. When going for a quick few days on a business trip, I pretty much just pack up quickly and grab what I need. I see it both ways depending on the type of trip and length of time travelling.

Am a bit of both. Currently working on by far the most pre-packing w a. extensive list (and new language) for my upcoming Antarctica trip. Usually start working on a pile 5 days international and 3 days domestically before 1 week+ trips. Also need to look up Dimensions allowed for carryon in different countries as it's the wild west w each carrier's restrictions and fees.

Bill is definitely a list guy,. I just pack everything I own because I am afraid of missing something.
