Tattoo You?

Of course, being Old School, I do not have a tattoo.  And being nonjudgmental I question why anyone would do that to their body?
Tattoo YouYet, so many do and it seems more and more fashionable and acceptable.

I just don’t (won’t) get it!

I am with you Fred. I just don't understand why this has become such a popular occurrence. The body's natural beauty is more or less permanently changed. Just my "old school" opinion I guess too, as It seems people need to make a statement or send a message and this is the popular way to do so.

Tattoos are indeed OLD school. Originating in Ancient Greece and part of the culture of Samoa and the Polynesian Islands. It has been co- opted by lots of different people/groups in modern times. It is a way if adornment and can be very beautiful if done well with a good design. I myself don’t have any or ever plan to get one- I don’t even have pierced ears - ha ha ha

Tattoo me...never. I do however really respect tattoos that have great personal meaning, such as Jefferson Crowther's.

I am not a fan. Although two of my daughters have them. Maybe, it's a thing for the younger generation???

But, I love the Stones album cover.

I don't have one. My wife does not, not do either of our children have one. Year ago a former girlfriend softly encouraged me to do a discrete one - what ever that means - a hidden stamp. I'm glad I never did. This too shall pass
