First one...again

So today (Friday) at 3P I had an experience I haven't had in quite awhile...a business appointment that was not on Zoom.

Meeting

Masks on, elbow bumps for hello and a 10 minute conversation on shots, antibodies and viruses in general.

I was excited to be in front of an actual person. It was different, familiar and very comforting in a strange sort of way. We both delighted in our conversation and face to face encounter. I hope to have more!

Have you had one?

No, but nonetheless, a number of hand shakes!

There’s been some breakfasts and lunches. One campaign meeting and a HQ opening.

In my business, I had no choice but to have face-to-face appointments throughout the pandemic. But we had dinner at our favorite restaurant last night! There were tears and hugs.

That’s awesome Mitch. I went back into the classroom last September and taught hybrid half in the room and half on zoom until Thanksgiving. It was a little more fraught and lots of precautions with masks, distancing and sanitizing. now, after the vaccines (thank God for them) it truly feels much closer to normal! The one thing about zoom that is great is no masks! You can actually see peoples faces, expressions etc. It doesn’t take the place of live, but live with a mask also has a unique set of challenges. Enjoy!!

I have two this week, an in person settlement conference and an in person court appearance. It's going to be interesting. . . .

Congrats on an in person biz meeting! College semesters finishing, so still wrapping up on FaceTime. Looking forward to fall-person to person!!

That is one saving grace of Zoom...if they have their video on :) I'm anticipating being back in the classroom in Sept...fingers crossed.

I had one last week. We were outside, distanced and unmasked. It was LOVELY!
