While talking with one of my contacts at Hofstra, she said that she's moved on from drinking green tea and now orders a caramel latte but feels guilty because of the calories.   Caramel Latte

I said WTF, if it brings you some joy, order it! You deserve it :)

I got off the phone and thought about a quote from Mark Twain that popped into my head...

"Life is short, Break the Rules. Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably And never regret ANYTHING That makes you smile."

Words to live by...

Love. Have the latte...and then, if you feel guilty, take a walk! All about free will and choices. :))
Mark Twain is one of my favorites. He is attributed as saying “I have experienced some terrible, horrible things in my life. And some of them have even actually happened.”

Love the Mark Twain quote. Now if I can just live by it...challanging at times, but so worth trying to attain it.

Good reminder about the cleverness of Mark Twain. Don't stop to analyze the quote fragment by fragment especially in these Covid days, but the message is clear. Life is to be enjoyed!

Erma Bombeck said, "Nobody ever said on their death bed that they regretted not working enough." In other words, enjoy every moment.
Shelley Simpson

And there was Auntie Mame, "Life is a buffet...and most poor bastards are starving to death" and my favorite quotation of all time (at least today) is Sondheim's "the choice may have been mistaken, the choosing was not." Squeeze the day and thanks for a great blog!

Carpe Diem.
The only choice I ever have to make is to be present.

A Question of Balance (also a great name for an LP); you include, you adjust in other ways and things work out fine.
