Is it Happening?

Finally! The end is in sight. December of 2018, my husband and I started building our new home. We bought the lot and began the selections process. It was supposed to take 8 months. Until, the wrong siding went up. That had to be taken off. Then, the windows in the primary bedroom were placed too close together. The windows had to be pulled out and redone. It was one comedy of errors after another. Then, March of 2020 rolled in. Supply chain stopped, no work allowed. Construction stopped. Our 8 months turned into 18 months. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Now, it’s full speed ahead. Movers arrive next week, and we’ll be in September 1st. My list is growing by the hour. Help!! Any advice you can offer at this point?

Remember, it will never end, that is the beauty of being a home owner. So don't worry, what doesn't get done today, there is always tomorrow.

My thought is already expressed. Breath. It is liminal space - the place between when one door closed and before another opens. A place where growth happens.
