Yes! You read it right.

I decided to load up on more knowlege, in conjunction with my amazing career. I'm a girl from the Midwest and decided to choose a school that speaks to my roots, with a robust reputation in Behavioral Sciences. As of today, I am a registered student at Purdue University in Indiana, pursuing my degree in Industrial Psychology. In addition to having my Series 7, 66 and pending insurance credentials, I'll be a trained "intense listener".

With the changing landscape and impending business succession cases I've been working on lately, it makes sense to broaded and deepen my psychological craft. Family dynamic and relationships to money, is where the rubber meets the road. If one can acquire wealth, how does one be certain to keep it? To transfer it? To bring in family partners? To sell it?

What is the "thing" COVID has allowed you to pursue?

Purdue University for me....

More time around my beautiful wife during the spring when she would otherwise be working non-remotely.

Great focus. I think Covid made me reflect on what is important at home and in life. Family is always the top priority.

Education is always a good investment and I have been consistently engaged in online personal and professional development. I was surprised at how quickly I filled up the time that was not being used for commuting, get-togethers, etc. Much of it was due to increased business, but then I got to add lots of great things like Gotham Circuit riding, Facetime calls with the kids in my world, and meal prep. Looking forward to seeing your report card!

Congrats!!! I have pursued Pilates for the first time in my almost sixty years. At the beginning of the quarantine, I decided to pursue something new that would be healthy. I found a great Australian instructor on Youtube. Not only do I love her accent but the classes are free. And I am truly enjoying Pilates much more than I thought I would.

Congratulations. A great combination of skills. Money is such a complicated factor. Connecting industrial psychology with your financial advising expertise makes great sense. I have conversations with clients about their own believes about money and then about each of their parent’s perceptions to foster dialogue about their actions.
