What Condition Is Your Condition In?

Categories
Health

In these weird, stressful, sometimes sureal, uncharted Covid 19 days Joanne and I find ourselves constantly saying two things to each other: Janis Joplin’s “Its all the same f...ing day, man!” and Kenny Rogers’ “What condition is your condition in?”

Have a nice day and mind your condition!

Trying to keep safe while we keep the wheels of buisness turning, but we’ve definitely been enjoying our peek at the afterlife. Most days are similar, but fantastic!

It’s Groundhog Day with a twist. The challenge is to find something that distinguishes the day and stay vigilant. Be safe.

I wonder what Bill Murray is doing with his free time?

Maybe because it's my line of work or maybe the company I work for. But man do I have a ton of things to do and never a free moment to stop and smell the roses. Yes there is repetition as there always has been, but we have another focus that just keeps changing nearly by the week. One can never fully catch up. So I am now getting fed up with too much to do that is not necessarily producing the end result in my pocket.

I’m lucky enough to be an artist- so I’m constantly making art. Every day with out fail. It has maintained my spiritual, emotional and intellectual health. I’m so busy- and greatful to have this time to do what I love. I’m sure Joanne is feeling silmilarly.

I really thought I would have extra time and I don't. And so, "who knows where the time goes? Who knows where the time goes?"

Reclusive is the term that best describes our life these days . And it has done so for years . Every now and then Diane asks me if I want to go for a ride . I have to think about it . Where are we going ? Don’t know and don’t care . Back in late January I think it was ...... I broke my neck and fractured my skull . Two on one . Dogs vs. me . I came close to meeting my maker. The dogs won. I got choppered out and spent the next month or so in the Valley Med Neurological Unit . Exhausting protocol. The two Labrador Retrievers were guests at one point . So back to the future . Every day is after life . Right ? There is a path from the back deck that circumvents the Forrest and allows me to sit in the woods amongst the creatures that inhabit the space . They know me pretty well and go about their busy chores around me . I remain transfixed on their busy work schedule . But they teach me things . How to live my life these days for the better. No wasted movement . All efficient mind and body . Progress as slow as the hands of a clock . But moving forward all the time . Minimizing as well as maximizing. Getting “ Up on the step” as they say . Gaining speed and strength as I pull back on the throttles. Efficiency .
