Another Virus

About a week ago, my friend, Gil, sent me the picture shown on this blog. Twenty people wearing masks over looking Jerusalem. Prophetic ? Not exactly….

We were on a trip to Israel with about twenty people. Two weeks of touring on a bus and meeting people. We didn’t know — until about the end of the first week, that we were an incubator for the Flu virus.

Someone on the trip had the virus and, during the course of two weeks, the virus had us - almost every one of us (although some became much sicker than others). About halfway through the trip, we realized what was going on and someone found the masks. In retrospect, the masks helped. In further retrospect having them earlier would probably have helped more.

I wouldn’t have remembered if Gil had not sent the picture.

Very interesting trip.... in many ways. Unfortunately, several people got very sick.

! So the past truly can be prologue in more ways than we know. The key is to remember.

I hope you and Flo were still able to enjoy Israel. Grateful you came through it.

No surprise that Israel mandated masks from the beginning of the COVID outbreak as did Hungary and no doubt other countries. That Faucci was initially so lax on this is amazing.
The upshot is that there needs to be a unified global infectious disease protocol standard and warning system. Most likely thru our ex-partner WHO.
