Last Year

Last year at this time I was watching Aaron Judge and my Yankees every night and getting ready for my softball season with my son and grandson. Fred's Life

This year I am watching Ozark, Bosch and Outlander after a hard day of Zooming and mask and glove wearing.

Next year?

I want my Life back!

This time last year I was in Colorado with my wife having drinks on the slope side in Breckenridge. Now I'm working my but off disinfecting against the virus.

70 degrees this weekend in NY. Will be wonderful to enjoy what we do do, no need to watch others.

Sadly the life we knew will be very different when we get it back :(

Not sure where to go with this one other than to say that as long we are on this side of the garden - masked or not - the future will come bringing all sorts wonderment including baseball and softball games. There are plenty of memories to be made if we stay the course.

This time last year, I was at an all expense paid work Presidents Trip reward to Punta Cana, DR enjoying the sun, beach and some great food. Hard to believe it was a year ago. I feel this troubling time is almost over. Hopefully we can look back and remember what we were all doing now and if it has changed significantly or not at that time in the future.

Keep looking forward :) Looking forward to new joys, a new normal with new connections and new inspirations. We may never go back - but we can always go forward.

This is a gigantic reset. Let’s make it a reinvention convention and stop to savor what we mostly took for granted before and suspend our spoiled egoic prism.
Be grateful for the air you breath, the blessing of another day, our freedom and a thousand joys we would never know were it not for millions who labored and and fought for us. Oh, and never let a day go by (I know you don’t) w/o a few laughs and helping someone else somewhere (your specialtyX10.

Let’s get real Gotham . The theme here is vulnerability . We got caught with our pants down Gotham . Amidst all the other distractions we deal with we got hit by an 18 wheeler out of nowhere that cleaned our messy life right up didn’t it . We went from impeachment to COVID 19 without missing a beat . And now we whine and moan . “Ouch ! Mommy it hurts !” Come on Gotham .....We reap what we have sown . Does anybody recognize how weak we look in the face of crisis ? How banal we seem to exist ? I missed my TV show !!! Wah Wah Wah ! Help me mommy I can’t suck my thumb ! Ouchy Ouchy ! You think this is bad . Think Pearl Harbor , Hiroshima , Berlin. Get it together Tribe . Read some history books . Get smarter . If this is your first crisis use it to grow . Get some perspective . Grow from it . Learn about yourself . Check out your weakness . Don’t get blindsided again . The wolf is always at your door .
